Export of 15-Meter Non-Prestressed Concrete Electric Poles to Indonesia
Indonesia, an archipelagic nation of myriad islands spanning the equator, is undergoing rapid expansion of its power infrastructure. From the dense towns of Java to the plantation estates of Sumatra, a stable and reliable distribution network underpins economic growth and improved livelihoods. Recently, a batch of 15-meter non-prestressed concrete electric poles customized for the Indonesian market has completed production and shipment, setting off for the customer's project site. The smooth delivery of this order once again validates our professional capability to respond to the differentiated needs of the Southeast Asian market.

Made to Meet Needs: Adapting to Tropical Archipelagic Environments
Indonesia lies in the tropics, where high temperatures and humidity persist throughout the year, salt spray corrosion is pronounced in coastal areas, and inland regions of some islands face concentrated rainy-season precipitation and variable soil bearing conditions. In response to these environmental characteristics, this batch of 15-meter non-prestressed concrete electric poles adopts a reinforced steel cage design and high-quality concrete with centrifugal forming technology. Non-prestressed poles use hot-rolled ribbed steel bars to form the load-bearing cage; the design is deliberately robust, offering clear engineering suitability when bearing larger loads at important line nodes. For key positions in Indonesia's urban and rural distribution networks—such as angle poles, terminal poles and crossing sections—this pole type provides reliable mechanical support. The centrifugal forming process ensures that concrete densely consolidates under high-speed rotation, forming a dense structure with low porosity that effectively blocks moisture penetration paths in hot, humid and salt-spray environments.
Lean Manufacturing: Every Meter Carries Responsibility
In production, we implement full-chain quality control from raw material inspection to finished product review. The steel cage of this 15-meter pole is cut to length and bound into shape, with bar spacing and protective layer thickness verified pole by pole. During centrifugal forming, concrete in the steel mold is consolidated through three-stage rotation—low, medium and high speed—simultaneously ensuring wall thickness uniformity and pole straightness. After demolding, the pole enters the steam curing process, gaining stable early strength through controlled temperature rise and holding time. Considering that inter-island transport in Indonesia involves multiple handling stages and sea freight connections, we have optimized end protection and stacking plans to ensure products remain intact throughout long-distance logistics. Before delivery, each batch undergoes appearance inspection and dimensional review to confirm compliance with the technical specifications stipulated in the contract.
Supporting the Extension of Indonesia's Distribution Network
The Indonesian government has continued to advance power infrastructure construction in recent years. According to plans published by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, more than 450,000 kilometers of distribution lines are to be built between 2025 and 2034, with priority coverage of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan and the eastern islands. The World Bank also approved a dedicated program in 2025 to support modernization of the distribution system in the Java–Madura–Bali region. With their moderate height and robust load-bearing capacity, 15-meter non-prestressed poles are widely used at key nodes of medium-voltage distribution lines. We are honored to participate in this large-scale grid extension process with reliable concrete products. From the outskirts of Java to the plantation estates of Sumatra, these standing poles will support distribution lines one after another, delivering power to more households and production sites.
Professional Delivery: Starting from the Order, Beyond the Order
In this cooperation, from technical parameter confirmation and production scheduling to export customs declaration and sea freight coordination, we maintained efficient communication with the Indonesian customer throughout. Regarding the customer's concerns about foundation burial depth and anti-corrosion treatment under tropical soil conditions, our technical team provided detailed installation recommendations and maintenance guidance. The successful completion of this order further consolidates our practical experience in serving the Southeast Asian power market. In the future, we will continue to focus on process optimization and regional adaptation of non-prestressed concrete poles, and with a pragmatic attitude and stable quality, provide trustworthy product support for distribution infrastructure development in Indonesia and neighboring countries.
