Export of 10-Meter Prestressed Concrete Electric Poles to Senegal

As the Atlantic monsoon sweeps over the coast of Dakar, stable and lasting power supply remains one of the most urgent needs of this rapidly developing West African land. Recently, a batch of 10-meter prestressed concrete electric poles customized for the Senegalese market has completed loading and set off for the customer's project site. This order is not merely a cross-border delivery of products, but also a fulfillment of our commitment to West African infrastructure development.

Tailored Solutions for Coastal Climate Challenges

Senegal lies in the tropics, where coastal areas face high salinity and humidity, while inland regions endure both high temperatures and strong wind loads. In response to this harsh environment, this batch of 10-meter prestressed concrete electric poles adopts high-strength prestressed steel bars and high-quality concrete with centrifugal forming technology. By pretensioning the steel bars, the concrete is placed under compression before bearing service loads. This technical approach significantly improves the crack resistance and stiffness of the pole body in principle. Compared with ordinary reinforced concrete poles, prestressed poles offer multiplied resistance under repeated loads, effectively resisting fatigue effects caused by long-term wind vibration and variations in conductor tension. For Senegal's expanding power transmission and distribution network, this means lower long-term maintenance costs and more reliable operational performance.

Lean Manufacturing: Every Meter Carries Responsibility

In the production process, we strictly control quality across the entire chain from raw materials to finished products. This 10-meter pole is formed by centrifugal spinning technology, which significantly increases concrete density under high-speed centrifugal force, thereby achieving excellent impermeability and durability. The pole surface is smooth and dimensions are precise. Standardized holes are reserved at both the top and bottom ends, facilitating rapid on-site installation of fittings and crossarms. Considering the complex transportation conditions in some parts of Senegal, we have optimized packaging and container loading plans to ensure the poles remain intact during long-distance sea freight and inland transfer. Before delivery, each batch of products undergoes appearance inspection and dimensional review to ensure compliance with the technical specifications stipulated in the contract.

Supporting Senegal's Rural Electrification Process

The Senegalese government has continued to accelerate rural electrification in recent years, regarding power access as a key lever for poverty reduction and economic development. Due to their moderate height and flexible load adaptability, 10-meter prestressed poles are widely used in medium- and low-voltage distribution lines, especially suitable for peri-urban areas and rural grid extension projects. We are honored to participate in this far-reaching process with reliable concrete products. From the outskirts of Dakar to villages in the Thiès region, these standing poles will support transmission lines one after another, bringing light and power to more households and production sites.

Professional Delivery: Starting from the Order, Beyond the Order

In this cooperation, from technical parameter confirmation and production scheduling to customs declaration and shipment, we maintained efficient communication with the Senegalese customer. Regarding the customer's concerns about foundation burial depth and soil adaptability, our technical team provided detailed installation recommendations. The successful completion of this order further validates our ability to respond to West African market needs. In the future, we will continue to focus on process optimization and regional adaptation of prestressed concrete poles, and with a pragmatic attitude and stable quality, provide trustworthy product support for power infrastructure development in Senegal and neighboring West African countries.
